Childrens Ministry

We love kids and we want to give them every chance to connect with God and each other. Kid's Clubhouse is the Children's ministry of OVCC. Our first goal is to provide a safe and caring environment for all children to experience and learn about the love of Jesus Christ, and where parents feel comfortable leaving their child.

Your kids will get to experience curriculum that includes memory verses, unique games, and crafts to help kids learn about God and interact with each other. Whatever the ages of your children, we are committed to communicating the character of Christ in a tangible and practical way. Kid's Clubhouse is divided into three groups to best meet the needs of kids in different stages of development.

AGES INFANT TO 2. Children at this young age will hear who God is. In our baby room, volunteers care for your baby and read Bible stories. The toddlers learn about God through engaging stories and fun songs.

AGES 3-4 This group will discover who God is. They will learn more about God from interactive stories on video, songs, and games.

AGES 5-11 Kids in this class will learn what it means to believe in God. They will explore this through lessons using interactive stories, games, songs, and meaningful small group discussion. They will learn to trust in God and discover what it looks like to live their faith.

Check-in: Infant through 2 year olds are in their classes during the entire Sunday service. Ages 3-11 are dismissed during service, before the adult teaching time. After the main service is over, each child (ages infant-7) needs to be picked up in their class by a parent/guardian. If parents give permission, the upper elementary kids are released after service on their own.

First time Guests: On your first visit, we ask for the following personal information in order to keep your kids safe and their experience enjoyable: parent/legal guardian names, phone number, children’s names, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. While your child is under the care of a volunteer, we use texting to communicate to each parent if they are needed. Parents are welcome to stay in the classroom with their child if they would like to.

Questions: We’re happy to answer your questions in person on Sunday or by email anytime at Our Children's Ministry leader is Kalley Whitaker.
